Mrs. Lois Nell Hoven, age 93, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Matthew Hoven, son, Jimmy Ray Hoven and parents, Quitman and Sula Braden. Mrs. Hoven was a longtime member of West Chickasaw Baptist Church. She was a faithful follower of her Lord and Savior and served as a pastor's wife for many years. Her family will miss her home cooking and the love she shared with them all. Mrs. Lois Nell Hoven, age 93, passed away on Thursday, May 18, 2017. She is preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, James Matthew Hoven, son, Jimmy Ray Hoven and parents, Quitman and Sula Braden. Mrs. Hoven was a longtime member of West Chickasaw Baptist Church. She was a faithful follower of her Lord and Savior and served as a pastor's wife for many years. Her family will miss her home cooking and the love she shared with them all. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Hoven is survived by her children; Linda White, Diane Butler, Michael Wayne Hoven (Vicky) and Jerry Lynn Hoven (Amy). She is also survived by her brother, Layton Braden (Nell), 11 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home on Sunday, May 21, 2017 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, May 22, 2017 beginning at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Valhalla Cemetery, Eight Mile, AL.
