SgtMaj William J. Haire, USMC Ret.- age 68, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away suddenly in Lexington, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bertha Haire, four sisters and one brother. Mr. Haire serviced his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 30 years serving in the Cuban Crisis, 6 ½ years in Vietnam and Operation Bear Hunt in Korea. He served his Lord for many years as an evangelist and in recent years as pastor of Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, KY. He will be remembered by...

SgtMaj William J. Haire, USMC Ret.- age 68, longtime resident of Mobile, AL, passed away suddenly in Lexington, KY. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hubert and Bertha Haire, four sisters and one brother. Mr. Haire serviced his country honorably in the United States Marine Corps for 30 years serving in the Cuban Crisis, 6 ½ years in Vietnam and Operation Bear Hunt in Korea. He served his Lord for many years as an evangelist and in recent years as pastor of Perryville United Methodist Church, Perryville, KY. He will be remembered by family and friends as a valiant servant of his Lord and his country. Mr. Haire is survived by his loving and devoted wife of thirty five years, Bonnie Cartee Haire; children, Ryan Best (Shea), Misty Buzbee (Greg), Andrew Haire, Sr. (Ashley), Rebecca Brown (Tracy) and Joey Haire,. He also leaves to cherish his memory siblings; Hubert Haire, Joyce Newsome (Thurman), Brenda Thomas (Grady), Karen Walden (Joe), Vicki Arrington, Reba Baggett (Kenny), grandchildren; Angel, Kyle, Jordan, Carter, Elizabeth Ann, Ashlynn, Caden, Makenzie, A.J. and Hannah Grace. Visitation will be held at Radney Funeral Home, Dauphin Street, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 4, 2014. Funeral services, will be held at the funeral home chapel on Saturday, April 5, 2014 at 10.00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Rev. Andrew Haire, Sr. and Bro. Fred Wolfe. Interment will follow in Mobile Memorial Gardens Cemetery, with full military honors. In lieu of flowers, family request donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P. O.
